Traffic Defenders
Courtney & Molter, S.C. - Milwaukee, Wisconsin
One traffic ticket may not seem like much. Just pay the fine and forget about it - right? Maybe, but when you consider what might happen if you catch just a few more "bad breaks" in the next year - you might want to think again.
Put down that checkbook - contact Courtney & Molter today.
Our firm handles traffic violations, DUI charges, and license suspensions for individuals in the Milwaukee-Waukesha area and throughout Wisconsin. Our lawyers take a proactive approach to traffic violations defense, working closely with both clients and with prosecutors and police to obtain the best possible results in each matter. In some cases, this may mean getting the citation rescinded or removed from your record. In others, it may mean pleading to a lesser violation that carries fewer points. We have also had significant success in reopening old traffic cases and getting previously assessed points adjusted.
Whatever the case, decisions will be yours to make and we'll keep you fully informed and as involved in the process as you want to be throughout.
Basics of the Wisconsin Point System
The most essential thing to know about Wisconsin's point system is that if 12 or more traffic points are accumulated in any 12-month period (measured from the date of the violation, not the conviction), there will be a minimum two-month drivers' license suspension.
For more complete information about Wisconsin's point system, contact us directly or visit the Wisconsin Department of Transportation's Web site at: http://www.dot.state.wi.us/drivers/drivers/points/point.htm
